My Rollercoaster Ride

Deborah

My life with conversion disorder is a bit of a rollercoaster to say the least! I have been sick five years and on good days to look at me you would never know anything was wrong, on bad days the world and his dog can see I’m not well.

It has turned my life upside down, I no longer work, have limited mobility on really bad days and struggle to find ways to deal with the everchanging symtoms that this disorder can throw at me.

But there is hope out there, more research is being done, and I know that by working together we will figure this out. Until that day comes, roll with the punches, enjoy the good days (because you will have good days) and never give up hope!!

My name is Deborah, I’m a mother, daughter, sister, aunt, bookworm, history bore, shoe, hangbag and jewelery collector, an avid eater of cake, and I have converion disorder.
