Awareness Videos

Georgia is a determined teenager from England. She and her mother Cindy share their FND story in the hopes of building awareness for FND and the youth battling the illness.

‘A Crisis for Neurology’ is a Neurofilm festival entry. The film highlights the importance of people all over the world uniting together for better care. Some patients have functional symptoms from psychological trauma and some do not. FND Hope advocate for all FND patients. We believe in equality of care regardless of why or how a patient became symptomatic.

‘The Hidden World of FND’ was created for the NeuroFilm Festival. All entrants are to tell “their story” of living with a brain disorder. The Hidden World exposes the complexity of the diagnosis and highlights many different examples of who and how functional symptoms impact.

‘We are Brave’ This video provides general information about FND and answers common questions others without the illness often wonder. It was created as a tool for youth with an FND diagnosis to help explain what it is like to live with FND. It is appropriate for all ages. (Warning: Volume is loud, and may require adjustment.)
