Amanda Hopper:  FND Hope US Executive Director

Amanda received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and a Master’s in Library and Information Science from the University of Kentucky. She has worked for almost two decades in public and privately funded nonprofit organizations, spending the majority of her time in nonprofit management and administration, including serving as the Content Manager for an online professional development academy, Youth Services and Outreach Manager and Assistant Director of Boone County Public Library in Kentucky, and currently the Founder and Director of Stormcells Inc.  Amanda has a heart for service and creative problem-solving, which she has used to guide youth and adult programming, fundraising efforts, grant management, marketing plans, and strategic planning.  She has focused much of her career on serving children, families, and community organizations.  Amanda’s daughter, Mollie, was diagnosed with Functional Neurological Disorder in early 2020.  As a result, Amanda and her husband, James, have become increasingly involved in advocacy and support of FND research, advocacy, and awareness.  Amanda has recently taken on the new role of Executive Director or FND Hope US and is excited to support the work of this organization going forward. She currently lives in the Greater Cincinnati area with her husband, James, and their two daughters, Macie and Mollie.
